Hi All,
I have been falling down on my blogging duties again! I just realized I am going to have to change the name of my blog, because it won't be just Jack anymore! I'll have to come up with something clever.
Things have been busy here, Paul has been working all the time and has been volunteering for 24 hour duty so he won't be tapped for it for a while after the new baby shows up. I haven been busy preparing for the new tyke and Jack has been Jack!
All of us are also busy preparing for our next move!! Hopefully only one more to go, before we are settled for a few years and at least this one is only about an hour from us!
I have to say in the last week, the big guy has just been figuring everything out! He is just so smart, he knows everything! I worry that he won't get all the attention that he used to, but knowing him he will figure it out. I am afraid that he will give the new baby a "warm" welcome! The other day we were reading a book on the couch and he was really eyeing the pack and play, after about a hundred times of telling him to stop pressing the vibrate feature on it, he decided that he was going to manually vibrate it, and started shaking the whole thing!! Eeks! We will see!! Good thing it's another boy!!
Well our new addition should be here sometime within the next week and a half! Keep your fingers crossed that our new little guy waits until Paul gets back at the end of the week!

Where does the time go???
Well I am getting better at blogging, at least its not six months in between my last post.
After Easter, Jack and I went home to Chicago for a while. It was a little hectic, as we did not stay as long as we usually do, so seeing everyone and getting things done was a whirlwind! We had a good time. Then it was time to get back to California and get down to "baby" business!
Paul was given a 96 hour weekend for Memorial Day, and unfortunately for him we spent it washing baby clothing, sterilizing bottles, and just generally cleaning up all of Jack's old things! We even had to get Pat involved, he entertained Jack while Paul and I made the trip to Babies-R-Us to get replacement things. I am sure there are things we have forgotten, but for the most part I think we are ready! Only a few weeks left to go!
Of course we haven't forgotten about Jack, his "big boy" bedroom set was ordered over a month ago, and hopefully should be here in the next week or so, and we have picked out gifts from the new baby to Jack!
So for now, the count down is on!!! July can't come soon enough!!

Ok, lets see...
I know, I am the worst blogger!! I think I left off in September, A LOT has happened since then!!
So here is a brief recap!
Patrick received his wings in October and moved out to San Diego to fly the CH-46 and he loves it!
Paul and I also received a nice surprise in October and discovered we were going to be having another little baby boy due July 17!! We are really looking forward to it, and cannot wait to see how Jack is with a new brother!
The last month of Paul being in flight school was a little stressful for us three to say the least! While Paul was just trying to finish, everyone came down with the flu, Jack, Paul, and our friend Jordan; it was awful!! Then Paul was within a week of finishing and Jack had a little procedure done, which while "routine" still stressful when he is still our baby! Paul successfully finished flight school and was winged on March 13, 2009! Paul and Pat are once again together in the same squadron flying the CH-46!
We have just moved from Pensacola, FL to San Diego, CA! I miss Pensacola, as that was kind of "home" to Paul and I; but I LOVE San Diego, all the amenities of home, but without the snow and cold!! I am doing my best to upload pictures, so we will see how this post turns out!
Hopefully, in the future my updates will be a little more timely!
